BUILT AROUND YOUR APPLICATION

Consider the foundation as part of the pump system.

Review equipment mounting, site preparation, corrosion exposure, and installation access together. Confirm the selected system against the actual pump and motor drawings.

01 / PRODUCT DETAILS

Integrated foundation shell

Polyshield combines a polymer-concrete shell with the equipment mounting arrangement. The shell is filled during installation according to the specified foundation design.

02 / PRODUCT DETAILS

Pump and motor interfaces

ANSI configurations can use removable motor blocks. Confirm mounting dimensions, frame size, insert locations, elevations, and adjustment requirements for the selected equipment.

03 / PRODUCT DETAILS

Material and site conditions

Review the resin system against chemical exposure and operating conditions. Foundation preparation, installation quality, equipment alignment, and piping loads remain part of a successful installation.

Installation duration is project-specific. Site preparation, concrete curing, equipment fit, alignment, and commissioning determine the schedule; a published case-study timeline is not a universal completion guarantee.

APPLICATION GUIDANCE

Match the equipment
to the operating conditions.

Collect equipment dimensions

Provide pump and motor models, frame sizes, mounting drawings, centerline heights, coupling arrangement, and equipment weights.

Describe the foundation and environment

Include the existing slab or foundation, available footprint, drainage, chemical exposure, ambient conditions, and any known vibration or deterioration issues.

Define the installation plan

Identify access and lifting constraints, outage dates, piping changes, alignment requirements, and responsibility for civil and mechanical work. Obtain the current installation instructions for the selected system.

HUDSON PUMP & EQUIPMENT

Talk through the details.

Hudson can help organize an inquiry for a new installation or foundation replacement. Bring the equipment drawings and site photographs so the review addresses the complete mounting arrangement and project scope.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you specify.

Does Polyshield replace the pump and motor?

No. It is a foundation/baseplate system supporting the equipment. The pump and driver still require their own selection and compatibility review.

Does the foundation eliminate alignment work?

No. Correct alignment and control of piping loads remain necessary. Follow the equipment and foundation installation requirements.

Can installation always be completed in two days?

No. The actual timeline depends on the site, scope, curing requirements, equipment readiness, and commissioning plan. Request a project-specific schedule.
